Solar lighting showcased at the Africallia forum in Abidjan

Fonroche showcases its solar lighting solutions at Africallia 2019

The Fonroche Lighting team attended the Africallia forum in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from 12 - 14 June 2019. They spotlighted our solar-powered public lighting solutions that have been installed across Africa, including Senegal, Benin, Cameroon and Morocco. The purpose of our presence at the forum was to seek out potential new business partners and recommend our solutions for projects in the pipeline.

The forum involved two main stages:

- Pre-arranged formal business meetings

- Informal network events.

The Fonroche Lighting team was pleased with its achievements at this key annual event.

Africa keen to embrace eco-friendly lighting solutions

Over the three-day event, our team saw how keen more and more African nations are to commit to eco-friendly approaches. As well as offering cost efficiencies, Fonroche solar-powered public lighting meets the requirements of prime contractors, promoters and private stakeholders for more environmentally sustainable solutions.

Solar lighting is the ideal option for a growing number of road and residential projects currently being developed in several emerging African countries. And Senegal is showing the way, with a recent contract for 50,000 Fonroche off-grid streetlights.
