In 2021, the municipality of Thizy-les-Bourgs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region launched an autonomous solar street lighting project to enhance its public spaces. Installed in the central square parking lot, throughout the town center, and along streets and walkways, the solar streetlights blend naturally into the surroundings while preserving the city’s character. Each lamp operates via a solar panel paired with intelligent lighting management, allowing immediate activation and reliable performance over time.
