In 2019, the commune of Garidech has decided to illuminate a newly refurbished carpool area. The challenge? To light the area efficiently, without impacting the environment or the local authority's budget. The solution? Solar street lighting from Fonroche Lighting.

Eleven solar streetlights from Fonroche's innovative range were installed. Combining photovoltaic technology with high-quality LEDs, these luminaires represent the excellence of French urban design in street lighting. In addition to their aesthetic appeal, their main advantage is their autonomy. Thanks to their integrated photovoltaic panels and intelligent batteries, they are not dependent on the conventional electricity grid. The result? Remarkable energy savings and simplified installation, with no need for civil engineering work, ideal for freshly redone floors.

The Garidech street lighting project doesn't stop there. These solar-powered streetlights, straight from Fonroche's Smartlight range, are programmable. They adapt their wattage and operating range to the hours of use of the parking lot. In this way, while providing sufficient light to ensure safe movement for users, they protect biodiversity by avoiding excessive light pollution.

Compliance with current standards was a priority. These solar-powered lampposts did not disappoint: they provide outdoor lighting that meets requirements, while remaining environmentally friendly. With Fonroche Lighting, Garidech is leading the way in modern street lighting: autonomous, environmentally-friendly and cost-effective.

In France, and in Garidech in particular, the future of urban, road, park and housing estate lighting is clearly solar. Panels, battery systems and LED technology combine to provide high-quality light. Thanks to Fonroche, solar street lighting is no longer a utopian dream, but a tangible, economical and sustainable reality.
