Canada: LeMoyne - Longueuil chooses solar for residential car park

Fonroche brings solar lighting to parking facility in Canada

Off-grid streetlights installed near Montréal

The town of LeMoyne in Quebec (Canada) needed a lighting solution for the car park of a residential apartment building to ensure optimum illumination, safety and security for users, in compliance with the relevant standards. To meet this requirement, we installed two 40W solar poles, which takes just 2 hours.

Powerful lighting – even when there's no sunshine

To ensure the solution performs as it should, the Fonroche Lighting design office conducted a detailed survey of the solar potential at the installation site. Based on the results, they then determined the optimal size and power of the solar streetlights for the parking facility. This kind of solar survey enables us to guarantee high-performance lighting at all times, which is especially important in a location such as Montréal, which experiences extreme winter weather conditions.

Cold-resistant technology for all environments

Fonroche solar streetlights are the perfect solution for all types of applications and environments, thanks to our unique battery technology, designed to withstand and maintain performance in all temperatures. Our proprietary Power365 NiMH battery system continues to function perfectly at temperatures down to –45°C for guaranteed high-quality lighting 365 nights a year.
