Fonroche Lighting has carried out a complete life cycle assessment (LCA) of its Smartlight range of solar street lamps, evaluating their environmental impact.
This LCA was carried out in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards. To provide a basis for comparison, our teams also carried out the same LCA on conventional streetlights connected to the electricity grid.
Fonroche Lighting pays particular attention to the lifespan of its products. Solar street lamps are eco-designed to encourage the recycling of their components.
Given the complexity of recycling photovoltaic panels and batteries, Fonroche Lighting works with specialized French partners to ensure optimal recycling of these components. This enables us to guarantee a recycling rate for our products approaching 100%.

Since 2017, Fonroche Lighting has been a member of eco-organization for the recycling of the various components of its end-of-life photovoltaic panels.
